Project description:
ArCAM advances climate manipulation studies in Arctic tundra ecosystems at Kongsfjordneset, Svalbard. We aim to upgrade the long-term experiment by enhancing vegetation and environmental monitoring with advanced technologies, including digital cameras and sensors for detailed study of the hydrological cycle and radiation. A new simulation of increased cloudiness will be added to the existing climate manipulation platform, deepening our understanding of Arctic climate change impacts.
